Thankfulness and stuff...

My friend Misty said that we all need to blog about things we are thankful for. I was in a pissy mood when I read that, and thought about doing a tounge in cheek list... but then I felt guilty, like the Curse of the Pilgrims would descend upon me and take away all the things i really do hold dear. (What was that town that disappeared long ago?? During Pilgrim time?? Like everyone in the town just vanished and there was still hot food sitting out and stuff....?? DAMMIT. Damn American History. I had a joke about that, but it doesn't work without the town name. Ahh well.)

1. I am thankful that I have two happy, healthy, cutie pie babies.

2. I am thankful for my husband, although I am not sure why. I love him and all, but he is kind of like a potted plant. Nice to have around, but not very useful... (KIDDING MARTY!! Kind of... ) It is nice to have someone to have relations with sometimes.

3. I am thankful that Misser Colby is finally WALKING!!!

4. I am thankful that I don't own any Zena The Warrior Princess shoes, like my receptionist.

7. I am thankful for my friends, near and far. I am glad that I found each and every one of you. (Oh wait. Not you, honey. Really just the others. HA!!)

8. I am thankful that i got a phone call from someone friendly last night!!! And you know who you are!! *smooch* (you aren't scary at all!!)

9. I am thankful that my brother got a job, even though he is moving far, far away. He needs a fresh start in life.

10. I am thankful that Andrea got kicked off The Biggest Loser.

11. Now if only Carter would come back to Abby on ER, my life would be complete.

12. I am thankful for my new tires, even though I had to put them on the credit card.

13. I am thankful to Tonya, for being so sweet and awesome and wonderful, and helping me (and Elizabeth) out so much. (I will have pictures tomorrow of her in "her" Thanksgiving dress - "The one that is colored like cramberry"... LMAO!!)

14. I am thankful for warm summers. I hate this freaking cold. I guess I am thankful that I can feel the cold and that I am not dead. I would be really thankful if i had an electric blanket, and if people would stop coming in my office (i keep a heater under my desk) and saying "MY GOSH!! It is freaking HOT in here!!" I would be thankful if they would go outside and sit in the cold. Then we would all be happy.

15. I am thankful that all my grandparents are still alive. I am afraid I won't be able to say that next year, but I hope that I am wrong.

16. I am thankful that my aunt has been walking with me every morning.

17. I am thankful for my jody board friends, who really made my birthday special.

18. I am thankful that my kids are little and i can hug them and kiss them and love them without them being embarrassed.

There really are a lot of things that I am thankful for, but sometimes I am bitching so loudly that you can't quite hear them... Like when I say, "you are really pissing me off right now." you should hear that underlying, "I love you so much that it hurts me when you don't agree with everything I say, my love." (Thats for Ingrid.)

Either way, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! I am including a picture of Elizabeth as a pilgrim. We got to go eat Thanksgiving dinner (lunch) at her school. Some of the class were pilgrims and some were Indians. I got cracked up because her teacher gave the Indians "Indian" names like, "chief Can'tsitstill"... I love her teacher.
