too sweet

Tonight, I was cleaning up the kitchen, and went to peek in at my babies, who were watching Blue's Clue's. They were laying on Colby's little toddler couch on the living room floor, and Colby was asleep. Elizabeth was rubbing his cheek, and when she saw me, she said, "Mom? When I am 26, I am going to marry Colby."

I smiled and said, "You are?"

And she said, "Yes. Is that ok?"

"Actually honey, it is against the law for you to marry your brother." (Yes, even in Arkansas.)

She sighed greatly, and then said, "Well, that's not fair. I just look at him and fall more in love with him every day."

Now, when I look in at the both of them, asleep curled together on the couch, all arms and legs, chubby and thin, elbows and knees, mouths agape, I feel the same way.

Sweet, precious babies.

Awwww!

Tell her she can marry Wesley. He's big like Colby and loves cars and trucks too.

Argh. I keep coming to your blog and getting distracted before I get a chance to comment! I just wanted to say that your kids? Too cute for words. That is just one of the reasons why I worship *you*.
