My sweet baby girl lost her first tooth this weekend!!
Colby and I were in bed around 6am on Saturday, and I heard her running down the hall to the bathroom, but didn't think much of it. When I got up about 10 minutes later, she was sitting in the living room, surrounded by toilet paper and grinning at herself in her little blue handheld mirror.
"LOOK MAMA!!! LOOK!!! I pulled my tooth!! And I pulled it all by myself! I just pushed it back a little bit and felt a crack and I pulled on the crack and it came all the way out!! And it BLED!! But it didn't HURT!! Look!! It sure is a big hole for such a little tooth!"
She was trembling with excitement. She was so proud that she did it without mine or Marty's help.
After the poop catastrophe, we went to walmart and bought some felt, and she and I worked on a little Tooth Fairy Tooth Purse. We took two pieces of white felt and cut them into a tooth shape, and glued it all the way around except for the top. Then we took a red piece and cut a heart out and glued it on to the tooth purse, leaving the top of the heart open. Her tooth went into the heart, and when the tooth fairy came, she took the tooth and left special tooth fairy currency... the rare $2 bill.
Elizabeth freaked out. She is now enamored with the tooth fairy and said the next time she loses a tooth, she is just going to pretend to be asleep so that she can see what the tooth fairy looks like.
We decided she is probably about a foot tall, pink and glittery, with shiny iridescent wings... and she carries a bag of teeth on her back, like Santa with the toys.
Next thing you know she will be getting married. My sweet little baby.

Congrats to Miss E. & hugs to mommy!
The tooth pillow sounds so cool & the tooth fairy sounds exactly like what I picture her to be.
Awww.... I can't believe our little ones will someday be losing teeth.
She looks really cute in that picture!
