Yes, I know I am WAY in the minority, but I am secure enough in myself that I don't mind saying that I am very sad that Kellie Pickler is gone. I loved her! No, she was not the best singer, but her personality outsparkled everyone else this year. (Yes, before you start beating the comment button to death, I know that it is not called Personality Idol. Or Silly Goosey Idol.)
She reminded me of a girl I used to be friends with... (Tasha, I am talking about Jennifer. Think about it!) and I know that a ton of people are / were sick of her "small town ding dong act", but I don't think it was an act at all. I think you have to maybe be from the small town south to appreciate her. (And even then, some of you are meanie weenies!)
Anyway, Kellie Picker gone = Natalie sad. (Elizabeth sad too. Elizabeth had a sobbing breakdown after it was over, and blamed me for not letting her vote. Well, of course it is my fault! I am also the reason gas is so high.) (oh, and yes, I also know that if my 6 year old is having such adverse reactions to television shows, I should be out teaching her some life lessons, and volunteering on Mother Daughter day at the hospital. But I am not. It's not like I let her watch Unan1mous or anything... well, at least not the WHOLE show.)
Either way, I knew Kellie would not win, and I actually think that Chris should win, with Katherine a close runner up. I like Elliot too.

I have to be honest and say I was not a Kellie fan. I did think she was really cute and much more entertaining than some of the others, but I was glad that she left. I am bothered when good singers get the "boot" while the not-so-good singers stick around.
I will miss her cute accent though. :o)
